Description
This is a new category of extra virgin olive oil — an everyday polyphenol oil with an authorised health claim.
Organic, unfiltered and cold-pressed from single-varietal Koroneiki olives. Rich and smooth with notes of fresh green herbs and a distinctive peppery finish – a polyphenol-rich finishing oil that works as well in a professional kitchen as it does on a retail shelf.
The health-conscious food shopper is one of the fastest growing audiences in independent retail. Most polyphenol-rich oils sit in the supplement territory — intense in flavour, high in price, and narrow in audience. An accessible, everyday polyphenol oil that any customer can enjoy is a gap in most independent ranges. This oil fills it.
Why stock it?
- A health claim most oils can’t make — only oils with ≥250mg/kg polyphenol content qualify. At 330mg/kg this one does, giving your team a genuine selling point they can share with customers.
- Polyphenol-rich, balanced for everyday use — the polyphenol level delivers a distinctive, enjoyable peppery finish that doesn’t overpower a dish. The kind of everyday oil customers reach for again and again.
- Accessible price point — at £18.49 RRP for 750ml, this oil is accessible enough for everyday use and premium enough to gift, with a 38% margin on every sale.
- Organic and unfiltered — Organic Farmers & Growers certified, cold-pressed and unfiltered for natural complexity. For a customer motivated by health credentials, organic certification is the natural next question.
- Steel protects what glass can’t — unlike dark glass, steel blocks 100% UV light, protecting the polyphenols and flavour compounds from press to pour. A shelf-standout format that reinforces the quality your customers are already looking for.
The polyphenol health claim
“Olive oil polyphenols contribute to the protection of blood lipids from oxidative stress. The beneficial effect is obtained with a daily intake of 20g of olive oil.”
– Evaluated by the EFSA. Claim authorised under EU Regulation (432/2012).
Only oils with a polyphenol content of ≥250mg/kg are authorised to carry a polyphenol health claim. This oil has been lab tested at 330mg/kg.
What are polyphenols?
Polyphenols are natural antioxidant compounds found in olive oil, responsible for that characteristic peppery finish. The higher the polyphenol content, the more premium the oil — and the more likely it is to carry an authorised health claim. Most olive oils never reach the threshold. This one does.
Meet the producer

This oil begins in the P.G.I. Lakonia region of southern Greece, a legally protected origin guaranteeing both provenance and traditional production.
The organic grove is cultivated by Nikitas Toutoulis — a third-generation farmer & expert miller, whose family has worked the same land for decades. He has combined traditional techniques with modern milling methods to ensure every harvest reflects both authenticity and quality.
